Baking soda makes for an effective home microderm

  • Use a toner that maintains the pH level of the skin.
  • Avoid using the microderm mixture for more than twice a week since it will make the skin dry. People with oily, dry and normal skin can use it weekly once while sensitive skin people should use it once in a month.
  • This is can be also used as a face mask by allowing to stay the mixture over the face for about 20 minutes and then washing while rubbing the skin slightly.
  • Adding honey will make the mask antibacterial and hydrating.
  • Add lemon or orange juice for an amazing whitening effect on the face.
  • Adding lavender essential oil will have a soothing effect on your skin and will help reduce wrinkles and pimples.
  • Sweet almond oil and Aloe Vera gel can be used as an alternative to water for making the microdermabrasion paste.
